- iPhones gekocht op het Chinese vasteland hebben geen eSIM (incl. iPhone 11-13, XS Max, XR).
- Hongkong / Macau: alleen iPhone 13 mini, 12 mini, SE (2e gen) en XS hebben eSIM.
- iPhone 13/14 en nieuwer kunnen twee eSIM's tegelijk gebruiken.
- iPads: alleen cellular-modellen; iPads van het Chinese vasteland komen zonder eSIM.
- Geen eSIM op: FE-modellen vóór de S23 FE, Amerikaanse S20/S21/Z Flip 5G, Note 20 Ultra (VS/HK), Z Fold 2 (VS/HK).
- Zuid-Koreaanse Galaxy's hebben meestal geen eSIM — uitzonderingen: S24, S23, Z Fold 5/4, Z Flip 5/4, A54 5G.
- Pixel 2: alleen eSIM als gekocht met Google Fi.
- Pixel 3: geen eSIM als gekocht in Australië, Taiwan of Japan.
- Pixel 3 van Amerikaanse/Canadese providers (behalve Sprint en Google Fi): niet compatibel.
- Pixel 3a: geen eSIM als gekocht in Japan, Zuidoost-Azië of via Verizon.
